Résumé / Abstract
In the graphic representation, the punctuation marks carry their own some values witch are easily analyzed from the referential semantics. « L’archer Bassari » a detective novel makes an original use of it. The punctuation marks contribute thus to the comprehension of the text. The analysis will show that the full stop (period), the comma, the dots, the exclamation marks, the dash and the brackets (parenthesis) used in the referential semantics participate in the building of meaning.
