Résumé / Abstract
Ethical life, in its immediacy, is realized through marriage, the founder of the family in which freedom appears under the form of feeling and shared love. But in a world increasingly marked by the primacy of having over being, the ethical nature of marriage tends to disappear in favor of a determination which is considered as being more about laws than ethics. The Principles of the Philosophy of laws of Hegel come to break with this tradition of thought by showing that its essential foundation, marriage is not a contractual relationship but rather a union of absolute ethics in which the difference of free-will is abolished.
